“I wouldn’t have minded a snow day, but we had a test of the Orion Entry Monitor System (EMS) Auxiliary that needed to get done. All hands that could make it on that heavy snow day were needed,” says Thomas, a 17 year veteran at Aerojet Rocketdyne in Redmond, Washington. Thomas, a Test Technician and the 2017 Q2 ADAPTABILITY Values Champion, and his team members shoveled several inches of snow from the test area to guarantee forklift access for product testing.
“His dedication and resolve is one to be admired here at AR”, says the Sr. Test Engineer who nominated him. “Thomas worked hard, as always, and got the job done and met the customer's deadline. Being adaptable is a necessity in our business environment, and Thomas does whatever it takes to get the job done to our customer's and management’s satisfaction. He is deserving of this high honor."
