Pritpal, Aerojet Rocketdyne’s second quarter of 2020 Values Champion for ACCOUNTABILITY, says the company’s values are important because they provide the foundation for the core of our company.

To Pritpal, who has been with the company for nearly 11 years, the value of Accountability means “commitment and ownership.” As a manager, he takes accountability for the actions and documentation his team members make in order to keep the manufacturing of the company’s Standard Missile-3 (SM-3) program compliant and flowing. He leads by example and shoulders the accountability of the training, ethics, and integrity of his team in support of a complex and technically challenging product on which Aerojet Rocketdyne customers depend.

According to Pritpal, his inspiration comes from his team and the many colleagues with whom he works.

“I don’t want to let myself or my team down,” said Pritpal. “All I want to do is make sure that we are all pushing each other to do better and achieve our highest potential.”

Wesley, Pritpal’s manager, says that Pritpal takes accountability for the actions his team makes to maintain the quality of our products to a level that exceeds our customer’s expectations. “He owns the responsibility of not only his successes and failures, but also those of his team, which is a large contributor to his drive as a leader,” says Wesley.
